Bringing over $250k worth of value to our customers
Our continuing investment in premium gearing equipment and technology was further validated with the purchase and installation of a Shigiya Cylindrical Grinder GPS-30B in the Ronson Gears factory back in September.
Offering increased value for our customers this new machine is capable of grinding internal and external diameters and can hold work pieces of up to 300mm in diameter and up to 1,000mm in length.
"The Shigiya Cylindrical Grinder is flexible, easy-to-use and environmentally friendly. Being a CNC machine it also offers great repeatability,” says Jason Graham. “This machine is fantastic for one-offs to full-production runs and already we are seeing great results.”
Our existing familiarity with the Fanuc controller is an added benefit as it means we are able to ’hit the ground running’. By bringing this operation in-house we offer a definite advantage to our customers. We are able to have more control over our production workflow and our customers benefit from on-time delivery.
