Our Technology
Overview
Three mechanical crank presses, a 1300T, 1600T and 4000T supplemented by 350KW, 450KW and 2MW inert-atmosphere induction generators give a capacity of over 2 million forgings per year.
Our ability to change dies quickly and automatic billet loading gives CPFL the flexibility to process small batch quantities in line with Lean Manufacturing philosophy.

Manufacturing
Precision Forging is a niche business, and one in which CPFL excel. Our product portfolio demonstrate the current and future opportunities available for this skill. Three mechanical Crank Presses enable CPFL to produce over 2 million forging per year. (See our Products for our product portfolio).
Our process enables products to be manufactured quicker, with less material content and with improved strength.
With the ability to forge/machine/broach/gear cut/hob/heat treat & coat, products can be line side delivered to our customers logistical requirements.
Tooling
In-house tool design and development is controlled by a highly skilled and motivated team. This in-house development enables speed of response to new and current customer requests.
