原文：This standard range of Bevel-Gear Servo Reducers are perfect for use in applications that demand good performance, positioning and repeatability. They were specifically developed for use with state-of-the-art servo motor technology, providing tight integration of the motor to the unit. Angular backlash of less than 6 arc-minutes is provided standard.
They are available in three sizes (BG 50 to BG 80) with input speeds up to 5,000 rpm, reduction ratios from 4.75 to 9.25:1 and output torque capacities up to 332 lb.ft. A wide range of motor couplings and mounting flanges are available for assembly to virtually all servo motors, and the hollow bore output can be used to mount output shafts, pinion shafts, or other drive elements.

Gearing: Internal gear design was optimized to provide high efficiency and an angular backlash of less than 6 arc-minutes.
Bearings: Robust output tapered-roller bearings for high radial and axial load capacity.
Housing: Light weight aluminum housing for good heat dissipation, with integral input flange for servo motors and universal mounting on any face.
Output: The output bore is available with a keyway or a compression-type hub (see dimension pages). We offer a line of accessories to adapt this output to straight shafting, Rack & Pinions, or other gearing types.

原文：On 19th July 2011 - Hardman Bros. commissioned the new VT1150 High Performance Vertical CNC Lathe with live tooling. This state of the art machine uses the advanced Fanuc controller with full conversational & ’G’ code programing with the addition of Glass Scale Feedback.
The machine has the capacity to turn a maximum diameter of 1150mm and maximum height of 950mm with the added option of milling (Live Tooling). Live Tooling has the advantage of reducing the number of processes and saves setup times by combining turning & milling in the one operation.
This new vertical lathe complements Hardman Bros. existing machines which include the Niles Gear Grinder with a capacity of 800mm diameter and 600mm face width and the Sunderland Gear planner with maximum gear cutting diameter of 1500mm and 300mm face width. The VT1150 will suit a wide range of industries from mining, agriculture, construction and heavy industry.

原文：In May, Hardman Bros., together with R & I Instrument & Gear Co., exhibited at Australia’s premier engineering expo, AUSTECH. Held at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in the Southbank region of Melbourne, it provided a valuable opportunity to meet with existing and new customers to showcase our capabilities and products.
There was a high level of interest in all of the parts, equipment and product demonstrations on the stand. Despite the feedback that numbers were down on past years we found there was no shortage of interest and enthusiasm from both existing and potentially new customers, and also student groups seeking assistance to solve various machining and component challenges.
Two of the big attractions were our ‘6 Speed Sequential Trans Axle’ manufactured by Hardman Bros. and a Helicopter Search Light built by R & I.
Interest in our stand was increased by our promotional ‘STAR TRANSAXLES’ blimp flying around inside the shed. This provided some heart stopping but funny moments as it was guided by various inexperienced ‘pilots’ as it was tracked by a searchlight. Also on display was Ken Horner’s historic Twin Racing Motorcycle based off a design by Phil Irving of Vincent Motorcycles fame and aptly named ‘Irving Vincent’.

The state of the art 5-axis control machine is equipped with revolutionary technology to respond to the need for increasingly complex workpieces.
